Hilltop Street

An elevated residence with expansive views that became the central design challenge — how do you light a home at night without turning its windows into mirrors? The scheme was built entirely around preserving the connection to the landscape after dark.

When a home's primary feature is what's outside, artificial lighting has to work twice as hard to stay invisible. At Hilltop Street, every fixture position was mapped against its potential for reflection in the glazing.
We pulled light sources lower and further inward, relying on indirect bounce and carefully angled task lighting rather than overhead sources. The result is a home that still feels connected to the view after sunset — the landscape doesn't disappear when the lights come on.
